The Forgotten Cancers Project

Cancer Council Victoria is proud to unveil an exciting new research study, "The Forgotten Cancers Project", that aims to understand the causes of certain cancers that we currently don't know enough about (eg Neuroendocrine cancers).

The Forgotten Cancers Project is the first epidemiological-based research project in the world focussing on less common cancers. The target cancers for this project include: non-Hodgkins lymphoma, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, kidney, bladder, stomach, brain, liver, oesophagus, pancreas, uterus, thyroid, gallbladder, small intestine and bone cancer.

Cancer Council Victoria is inviting all Australians over the age of 18 diagnosed with a primary cancer from the list of targeted cancers, to participate in the study.
