On Friday 10th March the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) and the International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) will hold the first patient-physician symposium Unmet Needs in NET Care and Research: Priorities for Actions at the annual ENETS Scientific Meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
Unicorn Foundation CEO and INCA board member Simone Leyden has been invited to speak at the symposium on the "Unmet Needs" from the patient perspective. We are very grateful to ENETS President Prof Massimo Falconi and the advisory committee for their progressive view of including patients and patient groups within the highly respected ENETs program. This inclusion is reflective of the long and hard work of past and present INCA members and presidents and we are grateful to all those who have contributed over the years to make this possible.
We look forward to the meeting and reporting back to our UF friends on what the priorities will be moving forward, to better the outcomes for NET patients in Australia and around the world.
